The mood of Hungarians is improving, but fears of corruption are growing
The world’s population continues to see the coronavirus as the main threat to society. On the other hand, the Hungarian population is most afraid of financial and political abuses and worried about the health care situation, but at the same time the fear of unemployment is below the world average. In January, Ipsos surveyed a total of 22,000 respondents worldwide.
According to the results of an international survey conducted on a monthly basis for a decade, the mood of the world’s population has stabilized at pre-crisis levels in recent months, showing an overall negative balance. Globally, 38 percent of citizens feel that their country’s affairs are moving in the right direction, while a 62 percent majority are pessimistic.
