ITM Secretary of State: the volunteers of the TeSzedd! action collected thousands of tons of garbage
In the waste collection operation, volunteers freed their environment from thousands of tons of waste last week, the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) announced on Tuesday.
Presenting the data, Steiner Attila said that despite the changeable weather, more than 90,000 people worked in a group of 1,900 volunteers between 18 and 24 October 2021 at some 1,500 meeting points. Based on the estimated amount of bags required, a total of up to 3,000 tonnes of waste will be shipped by service providers by mid-November. (MTI)
