German farmers closed another poor harvest season
The summer harvest season in Germany has again been poor and workers have been hard to find, according to a report by the National Association of Farmers (DBV) published on Friday.
German farmers are “feeling the effects of climate change”. Managing the effects of the process and adapting are increasingly demanding state aids -Joachim Rukwied, head of advocacy, said at a presentation in Berlin, adding that tax cuts and capital support should help to build an insurance fund against the risks of climate change.
