The rise in real wages can be 8 percent this year
This year, real wages can increase by 7-8 percent in addition to a 1-1.5 percent inflation rate – Cseresnyés Péter, Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM) told M1 news channel on Tuesday.
According to the Central Statistical Office’s (KSH) report released on Monday, gross earnings were 5.7 percent higher in December 2016 than in December 2017, while net earnings were 7.3 percent higher in the same period. In 2016 increase in net earnings was a 7.8 percent. (MTI)
