A hypoallergenic meat product line has been developed by Nagykun-Hús Kft. in Kunhegyes and the University of Szeged
By using milk powder produced from goat’s milk, a hypoallergenic meat product line and its production technology have been developed by the fully Hungarian-owned Nagykun-Hús Húsipari és Kereskedelmi Kft. in Kunhegyes and the University of Szeged, which deals with meat processing and sales, and the consortium formed by the University of Szeged – the company announced in a statement to MTI on Friday.
According to the decision of the National Research Development and Innovation Office, the consortium won almost HUF 730 million in funding for the development during the MARKET R&D tender – they wrote.
The goal of the project was to develop a new, nine-item hypoallergenic meat product line using milk powder produced from goat milk. The preparations do not only help consumers suffering from ragweed allergy to reduce symptoms during allergy periods, their regular consumption ensures the strengthening of the development of immunity against allergic symptoms for all consumers, they informed.
