Transportation and warehousing revenue grew by seven percent
In the second quarter, the businesses of the transportation and storage branch reached 1241 billion HUF turnover, 7.1 percent more than a year before, according to preliminary data published in the Central Statistical Office’s (KSH) Statistical Mirror publication.
Within this, according to preliminary data of KSH, passenger transport companies reached 252 billion HUF (+15 percent) revenue, while the freight transport subcontractors achieved 419 billion HUF (+5.8 percent) in revenue. Revenue of land line pipeline transport accounted to 564 billion HUF, 5 percent more than in the second quarter of the previous year. (MTI)
