Online sales are thriving
Because of the extraordinary situation, for the first time Ecommerce Hungary organised its professional meetup on an online platform. The topic was the relationship between the global pandemic and e-commerce. Two experts were invited, Géza Palocsay (Adevinta) and Norbert Madar (GKI Digital) – the moderator was Ecommerce Hungary president Sándor Nagy.
Participants agreed that those retailers are in a much better situation that had already paid attention to their online presence in recent years. Newly launched online FMCG stores must be careful, to build enterprises that can stay on their feet after the current crisis ends and demand drops. You can watch the video of the online meetup on the Facebook page of Ecommerce Hungary. //
