Ocean shipping can pocket huge profits
This year could be a big year for ocean shipping companies, as they could pocket up to 100 billion USD in profits in 2021, origo wrote. In addition, analysts say the profitability of companies is already assured in the medium term, due to supply shortfalls in the maritime transport industry.
In recent months, the shortage of shipping containers has been a major theme in the global economy, causing severe headaches in many industries. So much so that it even came up that this year’s Christmas toy shipments could be in jeopardy. (origo)
