Garda festival for three days in Tihany on the first weekend of November

Garda festival will be held in Tihany for three days on the first weekend of November. Fish-tasting, geo tour, street music, family and children's programs will await the visitors- the mayor informed MTI on Wednesday.

Tósoki Imre (Fidesz) said that the first Garda festival was organized in 2002, and since then the programs are surrounded with a growing interest.

The garda fish can be found in the deepest part of the Lake Balaton, at the Tihany fountain. In the winter, so in late October and November, you can catch this characteristic delicious fish only there. In addition, the gardas are almost exclusively occurring in the Lake Balaton. (MTI)
