The Food Avalanche gave “nets instead of fish” to fifty-three settlements
Spring works started in fifty-three settlements on a total of 110 hectares of land in the Food Avalanche program of the Hungarian Food Bank Association and Syngenta. The healthy vegetables will be given to the needy people. In the history of the program, 100 thousand people received tangible help.
The participants of the program in recent years mainly came from disadvantaged regions of the country, but this year 16 counties joined to the sixth Food Avalance initative – Cseh Balázs, president of the Hungarian Food Bank Association emphasized, adding – that this year more than ever, a total of 53 municipalities and NGOs began the spring works.
