Ever-faster market expansion
Fruit yogurt value sales were up 7 percent and volume sales expanded by 2 percent in the February 2015-January 2016 period. The size of the market neared HUF 37 billion in value. In the previous similar period value sales only rose 6 percent and volume sales stayed put. Private label fruit yogurts were responsible for 14 percent of sales. Companies spent HUF 10.3 billion (at rate card price) on television commercials for fruit yogurts, 4 percent more than a year before.
