GM: since the launch of the online price monitor, the average price of the monitored food products has decreased by an average of 6.5 percent
The price monitoring system created as a result of the professional cooperation of the Ministry of Economic Development and the Economic Competition Authority has been supporting the fight against inflation for more than three months. With the comparability of prices, the online price monitor helps families make more informed purchasing decisions, while encouraging market competition in the domestic retail sector – recalled the Ministry of Economic Development (GFM) in its statement on Friday.
At the end of August, the price monitoring system was expanded with a multi-functional shopping list that can be compiled and shared freely, while from the end of September it is also possible for consumers to select their favorite stores using the visual map store filter function and compile their shopping list based on the products that can be purchased there, they announced.
The latest features give consumers even more help in making their purchasing decisions, while increasing competition between retail chains, contributing to a further reduction in inflation.
