Global survey: Hungarian sellers are among the world leaders in greetings
After the Greek and Czech sellers, Hungarian salespeople greet their customers most often, so our country came in third place on the imaginary podium in terms of greeting customers – it was revealed in this year’s survey by Smiling Report, in which nearly 700,000 reports from 34 countries were processed. An improvement of more than 7% was measured during the research by examining the smiles of the salespeople. With this value, we are still in the middle of the world and there is still room for improvement, but Hungarian sellers smile at eight out of ten customers. In linked sales, last year’s third place was changed to fifth place by domestic salespeople. The recent report worked on the calendar year 2022, the questions related to smiling and greeting customers, as well as related sales – informed ClientFirst Consulting Kft., which assessed the domestic results.
In the dynamic world of customer service and sales, adapting to constantly changing market conditions and reacting as quickly as possible is key. 2022 was once again a challenging time for everyone around the world. Despite the uncertain economic environment, businesses have continuously strived to offer a customer experience that can increase the trust, loyalty and satisfaction of their customers.
“The Smile Survey annually measures and evaluates key indicators such as smiling, greetings and related sales, which all contribute to successful customer relationships. Globally, the scores for all examined indicators decreased somewhat compared to the previous years, and there was also a reorganization in the individual categories”
István Mózes, managing director of ClientFirst Consulting, which collects Hungarian results, evaluated the results and the past year.
