GKI: economic growth can be around 3 percent this year
This year the GDP growth can be about 3 percent or slightly higher in Hungary – GKI Economic Research Co. told in its latest forecasts.
In their communication sent to MTI they highlight that mainly due to the restart in EU grants, last year’s 20 percent investment fall will be replaced by an about 8 percent growth in 2017, while the rapidly increasing consumption of last year can be intensified further. Inflation will increase and the internal and external balance will deteriorate slightly, but will remain very favorable. (MTI)
