The control of seed potatoes continues
The National Food Chain Security Office (Nébih) ordered the nationwide level controls of seed potatoes arrived from overseas, due to several roundworm cervical worm infections.
In the framework of the action, the pest was detected in another 10 tons of seed potatoes imported from Romania – the Office revealed on its homepage on Monday.
The infected seeds can not be used for planting, even after heat treatment, they will be used for animal feed under official control. (MTI)
