Everyone wins with shrink wrap free toilet paper – Rossmann is the leader in green innovation
MAGYAR PISZKE PAPÍR Kft.’s shrink wrap free Crepto 3240 toilet paper has been available in Rossmann drugstores since 2023.
The product is a true innovation with its recycled and recyclable paper box packaging, the first and so far only one of its kind in Hungary. Attila Kecskeméti, chief operating officer of MAGYAR PISZKE PAPÍR Kft. explained: consumers had to be informed about the packaging, as the product isn’t visible in the box, so the company placed a QR code sticker on Crepto, which shoppers could scan to watch an introductory video.
Rossmann’s senior buyer Tamás Horváth added that they see a growing environmental awareness from customers, so innovations like Crepto’s and consumer needs fall in line. With the new domestically made Crepto toilet paper, shoppers not only reduce their environmental footprint, but also get a lot of content: 270 sheets per roll, which equates to 34.8m of paper (the industry standard is around 15-20m per roll).
Plus Crepto toilet paper was the category winner in the Free-from Household competition for the second time in 2023. (x)
