Focusing on sustainability!

As the products of SIÓ-Eckes are made from fresh, healthy fruits, the company puts great emphasis on sustainability and environmental protection. Back in 2019 they introduced the EMAS environmental management certification system, and last year – together with parent company, the Eckes-Granini Group – SIÓ achieved climate neutrality. With these achievements, the Siófok factory became one of Europe’s most modern fruit processing and fruit juice manufacturing facilities. As bees are the most important “partners” of the Siófok factory in growing delicious fruit, SIÓ has signed a long-term cooperation agreement with the Hungarian National Beekeeping Association (OMME), for the protection of bees in Hungary.
