Eggs contaminated with fipronil were found at local producers in Slovenia
The Slovenian veterinary office will check for every registered egg producer in the next month after it has been found that two producers used banned fipronil-containing insecticides, the Slovenian POP TV told.
Matjaz Gucek, a veterinary officer told that their inspectors reported that two local egg producers used fipronil-containing insecticides on their own farm, so they decided to take samples from all producers in the coming period. (Kriják Krisztina, MTI)
