With these tech solutions, companies can save on utility bills
According to a recent survey, more than 40% of domestic businesses are only now facing rising energy bills. And in several European countries, such as the United Kingdom and Italy, the utility bills of SMEs have increased fourfold on average. Reducing energy costs thus became the number one challenge for companies, and in many cases the key to survival.
In this, fresh technologies are offered as the main ally: smart office systems controlled by real-time data, efficient use of the amount of energy produced in-house, the deployment of artificial intelligence and virtual reality, and the development of organizational agility point the way to the future. The Stylers information technology company group has collected domestic and foreign examples that prove that now it is worthwhile to really run forward.
Energy independence and the achievement of climate neutrality goals have been among the most important political objectives for many years, so much so that by 2030, the European Union would cover 32% of its final energy consumption from renewable sources. While this seemed to be an essential but long-term step for our common future, it has now become an issue affecting our everyday well-being. The conflict that erupted in our neighbor caused an acute energy crisis in Europe, so small and large, public bodies, residential users and businesses alike are faced with drastically increasing energy prices. Coping strategies are of course different for each economy and company: according to 14% of Hungarian companies, they may easily have to close, 57% see the solution in a price increase, some postpone the due developments, but as an encouraging sign, almost a third of them prefer to invest in the in order to increase energy efficiency.
