Magazine: This is the situation
The Hungarian Tourism Agency has surveyed the general situation in the hospitality sector by asking various organisations about their experiences. They learned from the Guild of Hungarian Restaurateurs (MVI) that sales turnover wasn’t good in the Whitsun holiday period because of the bad weather. By the time places reopened many workers have left the sector, so bars and restaurants are fighting for qualified workforce.

Bad weather had a negative impact
Worker willingness to take the vaccine isn’t above the national average in the hospitality sector. Rules and regulation are too complex and sometimes they contradict each other. MVI keeps receiving questions from members about what is allowed and what isn’t. //
