E-commerce is booming all across Europe
In Europe, the quarter of Internet users buy something every week in the online space, while among the Hungarians, the ratio is 18 percent – the Masterindex European e-commerce and payment trend research – published by MasterCard for the first time – reveals.
MasterCard’s latest, research – carried out in twenty countries of the European Economic Area (EEA), including Hungary – revealed, what and how often the European users purchase on the Internet. The research also revealed that what forms of payment the online shoppers use. The results show that e-commerce is booming all across Europe, however, consumer habits vary widely from country to country.
