Plant-based food sales grew robustly in Europe last year
Good Food Institute Europe (GFI Europe) has recently analysed plant-based food sales in 13 European countries.

Growth increased to 22 per cent in two years

GFI Europe’s report came to the conclusion that sales of plant-based foods reached the EUR 5.7bn value in 2022. Sales were up 22% in comparison with 2020, and plant-based meat alternatives and plant-based milks greatly contributed to this good performance, as their sales grew by 21% and 20%, respectively. The market value of the non-dairy cheese segment is already EUR 144m in Europe. //
