Unilever rejected Heinz
US food giant Kraft Heinz Co. made a 143 billion USD merger offer for the Anglo-Dutch Unilever, but Unilever rejected Heinz’s offer, because the company considered the amount too low – mfor.hu wrote.
Members of the Unilever reported on Friday that they rejected the 50 USD per share offer that undervalued the company. Representatives of the Unilever told that they do not see the point of continuing the negotiations, because the current offer does not reflect the intesrests of the Unilever shareholders.
