Analysts: duality characterizes inflationary processes
Inflationary processes are characterized by duality: in contrast to the decline in the main indicator of inflation, core inflation adjusted for products showing strong price movements has risen. The former being caused by the seasonal food and fuel prices and the latter due to the prices of services.
There is also the duality that domestic wage pressures are pushing up inflation, with imported inflation curbing average price increases – analysts interviewed by MTI commented on the data of September. (MTI)
