Analysts: the start of summer jobs in June also helped employment
According to data presented by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Thursday, the average number of employed persons aged 15-74 in June was 4 million 739 thousand, 53 thousand more than in the previous month. In the three-month period from April to June, the average number of employees was 4,693,000, which is an increase of 74,000 compared to the second quarter of last year. The number of unemployed people was 160,000 in June, while the unemployment rate was 3.3 percent. (MTI)
