Analysts: wage outflow pulling retail sales
The increase in retail sales in February was fueled by wage outflows, and wages continue to rise this year as a result of labor shortages – analysts commented the data of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Wednesday.
According to the data of the KSH, retail sales in February were 8.4 percent higher than a year before, according to raw and calendar-adjusted data. Traffic growth accelerated significantly from the 5.4 percent of January. (MTI)
