Flour is getting more expensive
Due to the heat, flour and feed prices increased in the recent weeks, but bread prices are expected to remain the same, due to the unchanged energy and labor costs.
The feed, however, in all likelihood, will become more expensive because the grass burnt out due to the extreme drought – about 50 percent destroyed – and therefore less hay will be. In the high heat the animals were kept inside the stables, which increased the cost of straw usage – reports Privatbankar.hu.
