Confectioner Trade Day 2025
On 5 May the Hungarian Confectioners’ Craft Union (MCI) held its traditional spring trade day, which once again provided an excellent opportunity for representatives of the trade to refresh their knowledge, nurture relationships and discuss current issues.

In the morning there were presentations by Zoltán Varga, Szandra Tóth and Dániel Ruzsányi, and Balázs Ipacs. The afternoon programme was built around the European Ice Cream Day initiative.

Balázs Damniczki, a master confectioner from Székesfehérvár presented the aims and benefits of the programme, while Balázs Erdélyi, professional president of MCI told that a Hungarian ice cream could even become the official flavour of Europe next year. Ice cream master Dávid Wilheim talked about trends in organic ice cream making and the day ended with a forum.
