Kőbányai, known until now only in the form of a clear lager, comes as a surprise to the lovers of flavored beers: the Hungarian beer market legend launches a grapefruit-flavored 1.5% radler and a lemon-flavored non-alcoholic product. The introduction of the latter is in line with Dreher Breweries ’commitment to responsible alcohol consumption, with 20% of its product portfolio by 2030 consisting of non-alcoholic products.

Since its production that began in 1948, one of the best-known beers in the country has been known to several beer-loving generations: it is soft, light, slightly bitter in taste, pleasantly carbonated, and pure, mild hop and malt light in aroma. In Europe, it was customary for factories to name their beers after their city. This is how the Kőbánya brand was born 73 years ago, and two variants of it will be on the market this year.
