Brazil food scandal: the NAK urges strict trade regulations
The National Agricultural Chamber (NAK) expects strict trade regulations, due to the Brazil food scandal; therefore urges the development of a strict criteria sysrem to provide the safety of EU consumers – the NAK informed MTI on Tuesday.
According to the viewpoint of the NAK, the Brazil food scandal drew attention to the risks – previously indicated by the public body – that occur with a free trade agreement between the EU and the Common Market of South America (Mercosur).
