Bocuse d’Or selection
On 23 October the Hungarian selection of the Bocuse d’Or chef competition took place. Competitors had to cook a fish and a meat dish in 3.5 hours. Before announcing the results, Zoltán Hamvas, president of the Hungarian Bocuse d’Or academy told: The Hungarian final is just another selection stage before the European final in May. István Veres won the competition, Eszter Palágyi was the runner-up and Zsolt Haraszti finished third. Gábor Csik, Tibor Huszár and Roland Kelemen also qualified for the Hungarian final. //
