BMI: More moderate expansion in November
The seasonally adjusted November value of the Purchasing Manager Index (BMI): 54.7.
Compared to the previous November values, this year’s value is higher than the long-term average for this month (52.7) and also exceeds the average of the values for this month of the previous three years (53.2).
Among the sub-indices examined in the survey, we can observe increasing sub-indices except for the delivery lead time index and the price index. Only in one case did the changes exceed five percentage points.
The value of the employment index is 0.7 percentage points lower this month, but it shows expansion for the fourteenth time. In the past period, the index hovered around 50.0 points, which expanded at a faster rate in November (52.9).
