Bizalom Public Interest Pensioner Cooperative and COOP start cooperation
Bizalom Public Interest Pensioner Cooperative and COOP ceremonially signed a partnership agreement in Szolnok on 17 October. The retail chain and the cooperative will work together on bringing as many pensioners back to the labour market as possible. Tibor Fekete, president-CEO of COOP Szolnok Zrt. told that employing pensioners is very important, because it is them who can teach young people the most about the trade. János Bodnár, member of the pensioner cooperative’s board added: for pensioners the biggest advantage of being the cooperative’s member is that social security contributions don’t have to be paid after the work they do and the salary they get. This means that working pensioners earn about 20 percent more. //
