Auchan announced wage increases
Auchan is increasing the wages of its employees who perform physical work in its stores by an average of nearly 7 percent, so in the regions that employ the most employees, the lowest starting income after the probationary period will start from 402,000 forints gross from January in positions that do not require professional qualifications. The company continues to reward performance and expertise significantly, the chain of stores told MTI.
According to Thursday’s announcement, after the wage increase, the gross income available after the probationary period in most Auchan store positions that do not require professional qualifications can reach up to 550,720 forints.
In the case of jobs that require professional qualifications, such as bakers, confectioners, and butchers in the fresh food areas, employees will receive an average wage increase of 8 percent, so a baker can take home up to 525,000 forints.
The income of order pickers working in logistics, supplemented by the performance-based bonus, can be an average of 714,600 HUF gross per month from January.
Auchan Hungary currently employs nearly 6,000 people, ensuring professional development, a stable livelihood and competitive incomes for them, they announced.
