The GKI economic activity index continued to rise in May and June after an unprecedented rise in April, but most recently within the margin of error. The index reached its pre-epidemic level early last year. According to the GKI’s EU-backed survey, although business expectations recovered earlier optimism more quickly in May, they have now become a little more pessimistic in June.
