The meat of indigenous animals can appear in the canteens
The canteens should also serve the meat of native animals – Fazekas Sándor, Minister of Agriculture emphasized. In the current EU budget cycle more resources can be used on indigenous animals, especially gray cattle, mangalica swine and racka sheep.
Those who breed native animals can expect more support in the coming years to increase the number of their animals – Fazekas Sándor said at a professional meeting in Apaj. The stock has already started to grow, so the number of gray cattle is now close to 7500, while the number of mangalica pigs is around 65 thousands. (agrarszektor.hu)
