The production of greenhouse vegetables in Russia has increased by eight percent
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, since the beginning of 2021, the harvest of greenhouse vegetables in Russia has increased by 8 percent, compared to the same period in 2020, reaching 1 million tons. According to the ministry, the harvest of cucumbers was 580 thousand tons (+ 1.7%), tomatoes – 400 thousand tons (+ 19.1%). The positive dynamics of the industry are expected to continue until the end of 2021. The greenhouses are forecast to exceed 1.4 million tons with the fall-winter harvest, the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) wrote. (agrarszektor.hu)
