The British dairy trade association Dairy UK argued: Oatly shouldn’t use the term “milk” on products that are “not mammary secretions”. The High Court rejected this argument and ruled that Oatly could continue to use the slogan on its products, because it said it was unlikely to mislead consumers. //

According to the court, Oatly “does not state, suggest or imply that the products marketed under its brand are dairy products.”
