Most people feel they spend more on food than before
Food prices have skyrocketed worldwide in recent months, pertly due to the coronavirus situation. No wonder most people feel they spend significantly more on food than before. According to a recent Ipsos survey of 26 countries, nearly two-thirds of those surveyed said their spending had increased, according to G7.hu.
Of course, this is not only due to rising prices. Because people in some parts of the world have been restricted in their movement in some way, households are cooking much more for themselves everywhere, so they are buying more food than ever before. (G7.hu, Jandó Zoltán)
