Obesity imposes almost as much costs to the world as smoking and armed conflict. It has higher costs than either alcoholism or climate change – a US research revealed, which examined the strategies of overcoming obesity.
Obesity is one of the three most serious social burdens caused by humans- the U.S. McKinsley Research Institute (MGI) wrote on its website. The preventable problem gets worse quickly. If the number of obese people will grow with the current pace, by 2030 almost half the world's adult population will be obese. (MTI)
