The EU is fighting against food waste
By 2030, the European Parliament wants to reduce the amount of food waste to the half of the current volume – Világgazdaság Online wrote.
The report of the European Parliament’s Environment Committee points out that 88 million tonnes of food products end in the trash per year in the European Union, due to mainly the households and the manufacturing industry, while every tenth people in the European Union does not regularly receive sufficient quality food.
