Márton Nobilis emphasized that the Ministry of Agriculture has supported the Coop Rally as the main patron since the beginning, as it pays special attention to the promotion of domestic products. But it is also important to draw attention to food waste, the reduction of which also requires cooperation, he added, according to the announcement. During the factory visit to Lipóti Pékség, the site of the opening of the Coop Rally, the state secretary said that it was good to see the operation of the modern baking plant that meets all needs, which was built with the help of 7 billion forints from a government subsidy of 20 billion forints.
Márton Nobilis also emphasized that Hungarian food is recognized, reliable, of high quality and safe, which is why the Hungarian government has allocated HUF 750 billion from the Rural Development Program to food industry developments in the current EU support period (2021-2027). He added that the government and the Prime Minister are working to ensure that every Hungarian has a compass in his heart that shows where to find Hungarian products and where to look on the store shelves, the ministry wrote.
