Auchan anniversary, combined with a strategic renewal
In 2018 Auchan celebrated 20 years in Hungary.

Dominique Ducoux, CEO of Auchan Retail Magyarország told that they had opened new supermarkets and superstores, and today Auchan is already waiting for customers in 24 stores and 18 filling stations. The product selection of the online shop was expanded and home delivery is available in Budapest and its agglomeration. Auchan also built a 87,000m² integrated logistics centre.
In 2018 Auchan was named a Disability-Friendly Workplace for the fifth time – the company employs more than 400 disabled workers. The Auchan Youth Foundation distributed HUF 41 million among 21 winner projects. In 2018 the retailer saved nearly 1,000 tons of baked goods, fruits and vegetables from being wasted. Mr Ducoux told: in 2019 they plan to invest more than HUF 2 billion in increasing worker salaries. //
