SPAR starts comprehensive salt reduction programme
SPAR has launched a programme for manufacturing, selling and popularising products – various baked goods and breads, cold cuts and meat products – with a reduced salt content.
Head of communications Márk Maczelka told: this year SPAR cuts the sugar content of private label products by 50 percent, and the taste of low-sugar and low-fat products doesn’t change. SPAR also takes steps to make the products of suppliers comply with the company’s salt and sugar expectations. /
