AM: a new era in agricultural waste processing
The new waste processing technologies will contribute to the long-term protection of the environment, said Minister of Agriculture Nagy István at the handover of the Jager Group’s irrigation pipe plant on Thursday in Nemesvámos, the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) told MTI.
According to the information, the Minister reminded that in Hungary farmers use a significant amount of different plastic films in crop and livestock production. As a result, approximately 10,000 tons of agricultural film waste is generated annually. So far, it has not been possible to collect and recycle them, Nagy István added. (MTI)
