AM Secretary of State: The number of recognized irrigation communities has grown to over seventy
The number of irrigation communities recognized since June 2020 has grown to over seventy, and the number of farming communities that think in this form is at least sixty, Secretary of State Feldman Zsolt said at the handover of the irrigation investment of the Új Élet Mezőgazdasági Kft., in Dunapataj, Bács-Kiskun County, on Monday.
The Secretary of State for Agriculture and Rural Development of the Ministry of Agriculture emphasized that the recognized communities want to co-operate a total of 35,000 hectares of irrigated land, of which 24,000 hectares are completely new land. It also shows how important it is to encourage such cooperation, he added. (MTI)
