We eat apples in winter
Hungary does not need to import apples at all, due to the high quality and high yields of apples – magyarhirlap.hu wrote.
In the winter season, apples are favored by Hungarian society – Ledó Ferenc, president of FruitVeB Hungary said. As he said, apple production is over two hundred thousand tons a year, and Hungarians’ total annual consumption ranges between about one hundred and eighty thousand and two hundred thousand tons.
