ÁKT’s founding session

Early October the founding session of the tourism/hospitality Sectoral Skills Council (ÁKT) took place. The ÁKT will make recommendations about the system of trade education and the legal background of the sector, plus trade education-related documents must be approved by the council before they enter into force. With the establishment of ÁKTs marketing activities will also start, in order to popularise the system of ÁKTs, so that they will be able to involve as many parties in the work of this forum as possible. Companies will send their representatives to the ÁKTs, who are required to be knowledgeable about the educational system. A framework regulation on ÁKTs will enter into force on 1 January 2018. An ÁKT forum website will also be launched this year. In 1-1.5 years’ time the work done by the ÁKTs will be reviewed, and the system and the structure will be modified if necessary. //
