Generation Z and X employees are the most dissatisfied
Managers are too optimistic about the happiness of their employees, according to the latest research by the Capgemini Research Institute. Based on a survey involving 750 managers and 1,500 employees, it can be said that only less than a third of employees are satisfied with their work. On the other hand, the vast majority of managers (92%) believe in the complete satisfaction of the employees they manage or supervise. Among those polled, millennials are slightly happier (31%) than their generation Z and X colleagues (25% and 27%, respectively).

A solution must be sought in order to retain employees
“Employees’ attention, focus and personal priorities have changed significantly. The topics of priority are different than before the epidemic. Employees today value human relationships and empathy more than the remote work afforded by technological advances”
– points out Christian Schmeichel, vice president of SAP, who participated in the research.
