The World Culinary Awards awarded the best restaurants this year as well
The World Culinary Awards, celebrating the best of the world of gastronomy, announced its winners again this year in Dubai, where we got to know not only the world’s most outstanding restaurants, but also the list of the best by country.
The title of the world’s best culinary city went to Hanoi, Vietnam this year. Hanoi’s vibrant food scene is particularly famous for local dishes such as pho and bún chả, which also feature the sweet and spicy dipping sauce Nước chấ.
The best restaurant in the world this year was Bangkok’s Mezzaluna, which is located on the 65th floor of the State Tower skyscraper and is already recognized by two Michelin stars. The specialty of the award ceremony is that the best locations were awarded in several categories, from the best underwater restaurant (Su Va Na – Phuket) to the best gastronomic shopping center (Dubai Mall).
In the Hungarian field, Felix Kitchen & Bar received the most votes in the best restaurant category, while Kempinski Hotel Corvinus ÉS Bisztrója won the best hotel restaurant.
